As part of my ongoing research at the University of Delaware, I’m interested in Californians’ experiences with wildfire season, evacuation, and the ways COVID-19 may have complicated this. I hope to speak with as many people as possible in order to better understand the effects of these cascading disasters. A better understanding of factors in wildfire evacuation can potentially lead to societal benefits from better-informed planning at an operational level.

Interviews are expected to last between 20 and 90 minutes, depending on how long you wish to speak. Current rolling average: 23 minutes.

Please sign up for an interview slot here or in the calendar below. Slots are for longer than the expected interview time for the sake of avoiding scheduling conflicts. Once you’ve signed up, I’ll confirm and send you a link to a Zoom meeting for the scheduled time. While this is video conferencing software, accessible either by phone or computer, if you are uncomfortable with video, it can be done audio-only.

Unfortunately, I am only able to do interviews in English at this time.
